ယနေ့ နေ့လယ် (၂)နာရီအချိန်က ရန်ကုန်မြို့၊ရန်ကင်းမြို့နယ်ရှိ မြဝတီသတင်းစင်တာ၌ ကမ္ဘာကြီးငြိမ်းချမ်းစေရန်အတွက်ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်၊ဘာသာပေါင်းစုံချစ်ကြည်ညီညွတ်ရေးအဖွဲ့ကြီးနှင့် Ingo PEACE.(Japan)တို့ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်သော A Gathering in prayer for Human Dignity and Peace 2026 ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဆုတောင်းပွဲအခမ်းအနားကိုဆောင်ရွက်ကျင်းပခဲ့သည်။
ဦးစွာ ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊လူမှုရေးရာဝန်ကြီးဦးဌေးအောင်မှအဖွင့်နှုတ်ခွန်းဆက် မေတ္တာစကားပြောကြားသည်။

ဆင်လက်၍ ဘာသာပေါင်းစုံချစ်ကြည်ညီညွတ်ရေးအဖွဲ့(ဗဟို)ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ဦးဝဏ္ဏက ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီး သံဃနာယကအဖွဲ့ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ဆရာတော် ဘန္ဒန္တ အဂ္ဂသာမိ(ဒွိပိဋကဓရ၊အဂ္ဂမဟာပဏ္ဍိတ၊အဂ္ဂမဟာသဒ္ဓမဇောတိကဓဇ)၏ ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြောင်းသဝဏ်လွှာအားဖတ်ကြား၍ အဖွင့်အမှာစကား၌ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်ကြီးမှာလည်း ပါတီစုံဒီမိုကရေစီအထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲကြီးကို ကျင်းပနေဆဲကာလဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ကျွန်တော်တို့နိုင်ငံတော်အကြီးအကဲများမှလည်း ပြည်သူ့ဆန္ဒနှင့်အညီလွတ်လပ်၍တရားမျှတသောရွေးကောက်ပွဲကြီးကျင်းပနိုင်ရေးအတွက်အခက်အခဲအကြပ်အတည်းများကြားမှအားသွန်ခွန်စိုက်ဆောင်ရွက်လျှက်ရှိနေတာကိုလည်းတွေ့မြင်ရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်သောဒီမိုကရေစီနိုင်ငံတော်သစ်ဆီလျှောက်လှမ်းဘို့အတွက် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးသာအဓိကဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊ငြိမ်းချမ်းမှသာစစ်မှန်သောဒီမိုကရေစီစနစ်ကိုကျင့်သုံးနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပြီး၊လူဂုဏ်သိက္ခာလည်းတိုးတက်မြင့်မားလာမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်၊သို့ပါသောကြောင့်ကျွန်တော်တို့ဘာသာပေါင်းစုံချစ်ကြည်ညီညွတ်ရေးအဖွဲ့ကြီးဟာ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံအခြေပြု Ingo PEACE.(Japan)အဖွဲ့ကြီးနှင့်ပူးပေါင်း၍မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားများအကျိုးကိုရှေရှုကာဘာသာပေါင်းစုံအတူယှဥ်တွဲ၍ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဖော်ဆောင်မှုလုပ်ငန်းများကိုတတပ်တအားပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိနေပါကြောင်းထည့်သွင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

ထို့နောက် Ingo PEACE.(Japan)မှ ဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ် Peter Ngun Za Cung(Representative Director)မှ ဆုတောင်းပွဲ၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်အားပြောကြားကာ၊ဘာသာကြီ(၄)ရပ်မှ ဓမ္မဆရာများက တစ်ဦးချင်းအလိုက် မေတ္တာပို့ဆုတောင်းစကားပြောကြားကြပြီး၊ world Humanitarian Support PromotionOrganization Representative Director Khual Lian Kam မှ လူသားတို့အတွက် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဆုတောင်းခြင်းအား ကျေးဇူးတင်စကားပြောကြားသည်။

ဆက်လက်၍ အခမ်းအနား သို့တက်ရောက်လာကြသော ဧည့်ပရိတ်သတ်အပေါင်းတို့မှ ကမ္ဘာကြီးငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးနှင့်အတူ နိုင်ငံတော်အကြီးအကဲများ၊နိုင်ငံသူ/နိုင်ငံသား အားလုံးအတွက် မတ်တပ်ရပ်၍ မိမိတို့ဘာသာအလိုက်(၁)မိနစ်ခန့်ဆုတောင်းမေတ္တာပေးပို့သခြင်း အားဆောင်ရွက်ကာစုပေါင်းအမှတ်တရ ဓါတ်ပုံရိုက်ကူး၍အခမ်းအနားအောင်မြင်စွာပြီးမြောက်ခဲ့သည်။

Republic of the Union of MyanmarMyanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization Holds a Peace Prayer Ceremony

At 2:00 p.m. today, a Peace Prayer Ceremony entitled “A Gathering in Prayer for Human Dignity and Peace 2026” was held at the Myawaddy News Center, Yankin Township, Yangon, jointly organized by the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and INGO PEACE (Japan), with the aim of promoting world peace.

First, Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Htay Aung delivered opening remarks and words of goodwill.

Following this, Central Chairperson of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization, U Wunna, read a congratulatory message sent by the Chairperson of the Yangon Region Sangha Nayaka Committee, Sayadaw Bhaddanta Aggasami (Dvipitakadhara, Agga Maha Pandita, Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja).

In his opening address, U Wunna stated that the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is currently in a period of holding a multi-party democratic general election, and that the country’s leaders are making strong efforts, despite challenges and difficulties, to ensure a free and fair election in accordance with the will of the people.

He further emphasized that peace is the most essential foundation for moving toward a developed democratic nation, as only through peace can a genuine democratic system be practiced and human dignity be enhanced. Therefore, the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization, in cooperation with Japan-based INGO PEACE, is actively and collectively engaging in peace-building activities, standing together across different faiths for the benefit of the people of Myanmar.

The ceremony was attended by Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Htay Aung, Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Jack Cuttu, Central Chairperson U Wunna, Central Patrons of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization, Vice Chairpersons from the four major religions, Secretaries, Chairpersons and members of the Women’s Affairs Committee, Legal Affairs Committee, Social Affairs Committee, Youth Affairs Committee, Central Executive Committee members, Region and State Chairpersons, religious leaders and organization heads from the four major religions, District and Township Chairpersons and Executive Committee members, as well as invited guests.

Subsequently, Mr. Peter Ngun Za Cung, Representative Director of INGO PEACE (Japan), explained the objectives of the prayer gathering. Religious leaders from the four major religions then offered individual prayers of loving-kindness.
Thereafter, Mr. Khual Lian Kam, Representative Director of the World Humanitarian Support Promotion Organization, delivered words of appreciation for the peace prayers dedicated to humanity.

Finally, all attendees stood together and offered one minute of silent prayer, according to their respective faiths, for world peace, the national leaders, and all citizens of the country. A group commemorative photograph was then taken, and the ceremony concluded successfully.
