Central Chairperson U Wanna Attends Thingangyun District Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony and Plants Almond Tree

The Monsoon Season Tree Planting Ceremony, part of the Environmental Greening Initiative organized by the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization, was held at 9:00 AM on July 6, 2025, at the premises of the Thuwunna Myo Oo Wish-Fulfilling Pagoda in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region.
At the ceremony, Central Chairperson U Wanna personally led the planting of an almond tree (Terminalia catappa) to mark the commencement of the event.

Dr. Tu Tu (Christian), Central Vice Chairperson, U Than Zin Hlaing (Buddhist), Central Secretary of Organizing Committee, U Soe Moe, Central Secretary of Fundraising Committee, U Tin Maung Latt (Hindu), Central Secretary, U Hla Kyu, Central Treasurer, U Myo Zeya, Central Spokesperson, U Zaw Moe Aung, Chair of the Central Social Welfare Subcommittee, Daw Khin Mya Thwe, Chair of the Central Women’s Affairs Subcommittee, Central Executive Members, Officials from the Yangon Region Interfaith Organization, District Chairperson U Kyaw Si Thu, Executives from the District and Township levels, Chairperson and members of the Gopaka Committee of the Wish-Fulfilling Pagoda, Township police officers, and Officials from the Township Urban and Municipal Committee.
The ceremony emphasized interfaith collaboration in environmental efforts, highlighting unity and shared responsibility for the well-being of society and the planet.
