Chairperson U Wanna of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization (Central) Attends Christmas Thanksgiving Ceremony

A Christmas Thanksgiving and Fellowship Dinner Ceremony, organized by major Christian church organizations in Myanmar, was held on the morning of December 23, 2025, at St. Mary’s Cathedral Catholic Church, located in Botahtaung Township, Yangon.

The ceremony was attended by the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairperson of the State Administration Council for Security and Peace, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, along with Union-level officials. At the event, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a Christmas goodwill message.

Also attending the ceremony were U Wanna, Chairperson of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization (Central); Dr. Nyunt Hla, Central Patron; and Central Second Vice Chairpersons U Zaw Zaw Naing (Hindu Affairs), Dr. Htoo Htoo (Christian Affairs), and U Aung Zaw Win (Islamic Affairs).

Additionally present were Central Organizational Affairs Committee Secretaries U Thant Zin Hlaing (Buddhist Affairs), U Kyaw Zin Latt (Hindu Affairs), U Kyaw Myint Oo (Christian Affairs); U Zaw Moe Aung, Secretary of the Central Discipline, Coordination and Mediation Committee; U Soe Moe, Secretary of the Central Finance and Fundraising Committee; and U Win Myint, Chairperson of the Yangon Region.

Other attendees included Chairpersons of Central Support Committees: Daw Khin Mya Thwe (Women’s Affairs Committee), Dr. Myo Win (Legal Affairs Committee), and U Nay Myo Win (Social Affairs Committee); U Hla Kyu, Central Treasurer; Daw Win Win Than (Christian Affairs), Second Vice Chairperson of the Central Women’s Support Committee; Daw Khin Thida Zaw (Christian Affairs), Secretary; and Central Executive Members U Sai Latt Thin (Buddhist Affairs), U Saw Hla Moe, U Maung Maung Pa, and U Nay Myo Aung (Christian Affairs).
